Mary Jo Matsumoto is an American artist based in California. Among all else she paints the sea. Thanks to the Sea Library and this interview we have become friends, exchanging e-mails now and then, talking about the decisions we make in our lives to lead them in a more meaningful way. In January 2022, Mary Jo sent the Sea Library three art books and this dreamy postcard of a white horse galloping through a dark green forest. It’s Mary’s oil painting from 2020 named “Precognition”.
