In December 2024, I received a heartfelt note from Laura, a dear friend and talented artist. Although we’ve never met in person, we’ve been exchanging notes and letters for over two years. Last year, she spent a few weeks in Iceland and sent me a beautiful drawing. On the back, she wrote: “For the first time, I saw a yellow lighthouse.”
