On June 4, 1966, two young British paratroopers set out from Cape Cod to row across the Atlantic in a twenty-foot open boat. Ninety-two days later they stepped ashore off the coast of Ireland. Here is the account of that voyage, filled with the beauties of nature, fright, and human courage.
