In May 2023, this blue dolphin brought flowers and books – all the way from Australia, where a kindred spirit lives, poet Felicity Plunkett. She has sent this beautiful postcard together with two of her sea books of poems – “Seastrands” (2011) and “A Kinder Sea” (2020) and also Michael Dransfield’s “The Inspector of Tides” (1973). It’s humbling to read “You are an inspiration to me” when all I can do is shyly bury my face in pages and read her poems one by one. Thank you, Felicity!
