The third edition of Seaborne Magazine is its first print issue and gathers a varied collection of prose and poetry about the sea to inspire and delight. Whales, sharks, jellyfish, sea glass, beach, and – the Sea Library. Among 23 contributors to this issue is Anna Iltnere, the keeper of stories about the sea, with an essay Sea Change about a night six years ago when she found Shakespeare’s The Tempest on her grandma’s shelves while dad was recovering from a car crash in a room next to hers. Nothing was ever the same.
“What remained was the sea. It flowed into me and started to imagine me.”

Seaborne Magazine is a literary publication steered by Adriana Ciontea and Kevin Woodley. Its aim is to celebrate the sea and support charities and organisations who help to protect the sea. Issue N°3 is published in the summer of 2022. Donated to the library by the editors ❤️
