In April 2023 the Sea Library received a gift from Amelia Hodsdon, editor, writer, and MA student at Bath Spa University where she studies nature and travel writing. Amelia sent a copy of “My Life in Sea Creatures” by Sabrina Imbler. “The writer is so good at conveying the wonders – and ordinariness – of the beings in the sea,” she writes in an added postcard. What a lovely postcard, filled with spring. “Here in Gloucestershire (western England) it is a warm, sunny day and the garden is full of yellow daffodils, primroses, celandine + the first butterfly of the year – a real sign!” You can find Amelia on Twitter as @woollenwords.
